How to use Hootsuite to get more stuff done, A social media dashboard tutorial

I was going to name this post “Hire a FREE feathered virtual assistant!” but I didn’t think the people who get my blog posts via email with actually open the message. They’d probable think “I knew that girl was wackadoo, but she finally truly lost it.”

It’s no secret. I LOVE Hootsuite.

If you’re not familiar with Hootsuite. It is a social media dashboard service that allows you to manage you social media accounts in one place.

It’s amazing. I do an awful lot of things with this amazing service.

I schedule social media post for multiple companies, I analyze social media results and determine the best ways to deliver results for my clients I also use Hootsuite for some basic brand monitoring.

Now I used a paid Hootsuite account, but there are lots of great things you can do with a free Hootsuite account that will give you more time to run your business (or watch Hugh Jackman movies – totally your choice)

One thing to note, if because of recently updates to Facebook, you may NOT get the same visibility results for posting to Facebook via Hootsuite as you would from posting to Facebook directly. I’m currently researching a work-around for these issues. What I’ve found thus far is that if you post to Facebook via Hootsuite with TEXT ONLY posts (NO links) visibility is about that same. I’m still testing options for posting with links and will keep you posted on my results.

Ok, let’s dive in.
